Vocal group of Central Albania

A vocal ensemble consisting of women and men who sang folk songs of Northern and Central Albania live on the airwaves of Radio Tirana. The soloists and the choir of the Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances were the core group. The vocal group was accompanied by the orchestra of Central Albania, which operated also in Radio-Tirana, by the orchestra of Shkodra and the orchestra of the National Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances.
