Kaba of two parts type: kaba and dance. The first part is presented as a kaba with pastoral motifs which is typical for the instrumental music of the Greek minority of Dropull. Usually Dropull kabas have a virtuoso perception of the instrumental texture attributed to the talent of its performers. A culmination is marked in its first part at the moment when the violinist through an admirable violin technique imitates the singing of the whistle which is considered as a symbol of the music’s cult. The cheerful dance potentiates the festive atmosphere usually brought by the second part of the kabas. Undoubtedly Vasil Mastora ranks among the greatest masters of violin music with Saze.
