Two-part mourning kaba: kaba and dance. The title of the kaba is supposed to be not related to any performer, but to the lamentation created in honor of the person named Selim Laze Përmeti. This is because we do not find any folk musician held this name. Usually the Kaba dedicated to someone in his name were left in last will by the person himself. At its core is a short motif from “Kaba e Mediut” of vocal origin, but which stands a little to explore other motifs of pastoral and instrumental nature. The rare mastery of the violin is so obvious that it often resembles an oral wail. The feature is that the kaba’s turn is not perform by gërnets but by another violin. The 2\4 dance is characteristic of the dances of Permet girls and women. It is accompanied by the gërnet that is typical for the sazes of Southern Albania.
